The TXMS018FAN motor heat sink set is an aftermarket aluminium cooling solution designed for TRAXXAS MAXX monster trucks. It pairs heatsink bodies with a small fan to reduce motor area temperature during long runs or heavy tuning sessions. The components are machined from aluminium 6061 T6 and include the matching mounting fasteners shown below.

The kit provides combined passive cooling from the aluminium fins and active airflow from the fan mounted on top. Installation is straightforward: position the heatsink around the motor, line up the fan base and cover, then secure the fasteners. No specialty tools beyond common hobby hex drivers are required for standard mounting.
