Aluminum L-shape piggy back shocks

This 16pcs damper set is an RC-scale upgrade made for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck platforms. The kit combines aluminum alloy damper bodies with piggy back reservoirs and firmer spring choices to alter suspension response and travel without changing chassis mounting points.

Construction uses 6061 T6 aluminum for the main bodies, a polished 6mm damper shaft, and two interchangeable spring coil thicknesses to vary rate. The top spring retainer allows preload adjustment to tune ride height and mid-speed compliance for MAXX-scale off-road running.

Installation replaces the stock front and rear shock assemblies while keeping the L-shape piggy back reservoir design to extend internal oil capacity. The unit uses a sealed shock cap to limit leakage and a larger 6mm shaft to reduce bending under heavier impacts compared with smaller shafts.
