This 2pcs set of gold spare springs is made for RC-scale Traxxas MAXX front and rear dampers and is intended to help tune preload and shock stiffness across different driving surfaces. Produced by GPM (TXMSF/R/SPGD).

Key details: the springs are formed from spring steel with an overall length of 85mm, outer diameter 27.2mm, inner diameter 23mm and a coil pitch that produces a coil length of 2.1mm, which measures 0.3mm thicker than the original spring. The gold finish gives clear visual contrast on the shock assembly.

Installation and tuning notes: these are replacement springs for front or rear dampers; remove the damper assembly, swap the spring, and reassemble. You can alter shock preload and the effective spring rate by rotating the shock top cap, allowing fine tuning of ride height and compression feel for different terrain.
