This aluminium motor mount is an aftermarket replacement made to locate and steady the motor on 1/10 scale TRAXXAS MAXX 4WD models. The design delivers fixed mounting points plus an adjustable stabilizer pin system so you can set the motor position relative to the spur gear for correct gear mesh.

Fitting follows the motor-area routine: remove the four screws from the motor base, slide the stabilizing ring onto the motor shaft, place the motor on the bottom mount, and fasten with the supplied screws. Use the stabilizer pin in different bottom-mount holes to move the motor fore or aft and fine-tune pinion-to-spur clearance.

Use this mount to stabilise and accurately position the motor when you set gear mesh; follow the supplied hardware and stabilizer pin options to keep engagement consistent and reduce gear wear.
