Aluminum motor mount upgrade for MAXX

This aluminum motor mount set is an aftermarket replacement made for TRAXXAS MAXX owners who want a tougher, adjustable motor mounting option. The kit lets you move and lock the motor to fine tune the gear mesh between pinion and spur while replacing fragile plastic parts with a stiffer metal option.

The assembly contains a bottom mount, a stabilizer plate and ring, plus the screws needed to fasten the stabilizer to the motor base. Motor offset is adjusted by placing the stabilizing pin into alternate holes on the bottom mount so you can carefully change mesh without stressing adjacent drivetrain components.

Installation tip: remove the four screws on the motor base, fit the stabilizing ring over the motor, then refit the screws through the ring so the stabilizer sits between motor and mount. Check gear mesh at low throttle before running at full power.
