Upgraded front and rear CVDs for TRAXXAS MAXX

This 20-piece kit replaces the stock cross-pin drivetrain pieces with adjustable constant velocity drive (CVD) joints and reinforced hex adapters for TRAXXAS MAXX monster trucks. Hardened steel joint cores are paired with 6061 T6 alloy bodies and the axle diameter is increased from 6mm to 8mm to better resist high torque loads while keeping added mass moderate.

The adjustable CVD layout lets you fine tune driveline and suspension geometry; the hex adapters use a claw-style interface that removes the pinhole and gives a stiffer mechanical link to the wheel hex. Installing the kit widens wheel track by 2mm per side, which will influence roll stiffness and corner balance.

Bearings have been changed to suit the thicker 8mm axle and the required 8x16x5 bearings are included. This set is intended as an aftermarket drivetrain upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX platforms and should be test fitted with the wheels and bearings you plan to run to confirm clearances and alignment.

Fit this kit where a stronger driveline coupling and a slightly wider track are required; confirm bearing seat and axle alignment during installation to maintain reliability.
