12mm Brass Hex Adapters for TRAXXAS MAXX Hubs

This wheel hex adapter set fits TRAXXAS MAXX hubs and uses brass to deliver durable construction and added weight. The adapters increase hex thickness to 12mm to improve wheel seating and widen track without interfering with adjacent drivetrain components when installed correctly.

The kit supplies the parts needed for a direct swap of standard hexes and is intended as an aftermarket tuning item for improved stance and wheel fitment.

Installation generally means removing the stock hex, placing the brass adapter onto the hub, and fastening with the supplied screws and washers. Use the 5mm shims to dial in any offset required. As an aftermarket option, the added brass mass (approximately 7g per adapter as provided by the source) and the broader flange reduce visible wheel gap and slightly increase track width, which can change handling on loose or rough surfaces. The adapter is 12mm thick, noted as 7mm thicker than the original piece.
