Rear oil-filled adjustable damper for TRAXXAS rear fitment

This oil-filled rear shock assembly is a direct-fit upgrade for select TRAXXAS 4X4 rear applications, engineered to lower internal friction and help absorb impacts for improved rear balance. The outer tube is machined from 6061-T6 alloy and uses a sealed cap to retain oil and resist wear during regular RC use. Threaded shock bodies with adjustable collars let you set ride height and spring preload, while a locking spring perch keeps the spring location stable under load.

Two spring options are supplied: a gold spring pre-installed with a 1.4mm wire diameter for the delivered damping feel, plus spare black springs with a 1.5mm wire diameter for a firmer setup. Bleeder screws are fitted to simplify shock servicing and oil changes. All included items arrive pre-assembled, and the manufacturer recommends using screw thread locker on external fasteners to avoid loosening after installation.

Installation applies to the rear shock mounts only; confirm rear-only compatibility before fitting and alter the top spring retainer to change preload and effective spring rate to suit surface and driving style.
