7075-T6 17mm hub upgrade for Traxxas

The TJ010-5MM hub set is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 alloy and replaces stock 17mm hubs to widen the track by 5mm. These 17mm hex adapters fit between the knuckle arm and wheel, increasing contact area with 17mm splined wheels to reduce slippage and help avoid hex rounding under larger tyres or heavier loads.

These hubs are specified for 2S use only and accept both 17mm splined wheels and standard 17mm hex wheels, allowing flexible wheel and tyre combinations. They are engineered to mate with Maxx-duty axles used in #9080-series Extreme HD upgrade kits and fit Maxx-duty drivshafts that use 6 mm axles.

Installation is a direct swap for the stock hubs on supported Traxxas chassis using the supplied 17mm hex interface; basic hand tools are adequate. In tuning terms the 5mm widen delivers a modest but effective change to lateral stability and cornering balance, useful when fitting wider tyres or dialing handling for varied surfaces.

For setups running wider tyres or an Extreme HD driveline, these 7075 alloy hubs give a durable 17mm interface and a straightforward way to widen track for improved stability during routine chassis tuning.
