High-volume 7075-T6 transmission cover for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO

This CNC-machined transmission gear cover is an aftermarket replacement for the TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD sand car platform. It is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and uses a split cover layout to create increased internal volume compared with the stock cover, allowing room for larger motor gears and higher-output motor setups while providing rigid protection for the gearbox and motor gearset.

The package arrives pre-assembled with the included fasteners, and the hardware is specified as grade 12.9 steel. The design notes state compatibility with GPM motor mounts, and the internal clearance supports larger spur/pinion arrangements up to the size noted by the original source. For reliability, the manufacturer recommends medium-strength thread adhesive on the fasteners to reduce the risk of loosening under load.
