32T hardened replacement for Funco Pro 1/6 sand drivetrains

This RC-scale replacement differential gear fits the TRAXXAS Funco Pro Scale 2WD sand car platform. The component is made from 20CrMnTi alloy steel, heat treated and blackened to increase surface hardness and wear resistance, and supplied as a single 32-tooth unit with module M1.5 to match factory dimensions. The part is intended as a direct service or upgraded substitute for the original factory gear.

In a 1/6 scale sand car drivetrain the differential gear transfers torque between the gearbox output and wheel axles while influencing backlash, mesh stability, and overall durability under abrasive conditions. Swapping a worn 32T gear for a hardened 20CrMnTi unit helps restore correct geometry and reduce wear during high-load sand running.

Use this hardened 32T unit when restoring factory gear geometry or when a tougher steel replacement is needed for sand use; always confirm fit with the listed compatible model before installation.

This 32-tooth gear is specified to match factory module M1.5 and fits the TRAXXAS 1/6 Funco Pro Scale 2WD listed in the compatibility box; check your gearbox spacing and mating gear condition before fitting.
20CrMnTi alloy steel with heat treatment and blackening gives improved hardness and abrasion resistance compared with softer stock gears, but routine cleaning and lubrication are still important after sandy runs.
After installation verify tooth mesh and backlash, inspect bearings and mating gears, and spin the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth engagement before applying full power.
Clean abrasive debris after each sandy session, re-lubricate contact surfaces, and replace any worn mates to protect the hardened gear and maintain drivetrain life.
