Case-hardened carbon steel bevel set for E-REVO

This 6pcs gear set is an aftermarket replacement for TRAXXAS E-REVO drivetrain applications, manufactured from carbon steel with a nitride case-hardened finish and precision helical spiral cutting to deliver improved wear resistance and quieter meshing compared with standard bevel-cut factory gears. The kit is intended to restore power transfer inside the inner front or rear gearbox, replacing worn bevel components while reducing localised wear and drivetrain noise.

The package contains a 29T ring bevel gear and an 11T pinion gear, both 1.0 module, plus stainless steel flat head screws for secure attachment. The helical bevel profile and surface hardening help resist pitting and retain tooth shape under common RC loads, making this set suitable for routine tuning and maintenance where consistent mesh and longevity are priorities.

Packing includes

  • Ring Bevel Gear - 1pcs
  • Pinion Gear - 1pcs
  • Stainless Steel Flat Head Screw 2.5x12 - 4pcs

Fit this set when replacing the inner gearbox bevel gears on supported TRAXXAS platforms, carefully check gear mesh and backlash during assembly, and service or replace bearings and fasteners as required to preserve alignment and extend gear life.

Confirm your chassis matches the listed models and uses 1.0 module bevel gears before fitting; check the inner gearbox measurements against the supplied ring and pinion.
Start with light preload using the supplied screws, add a shim if needed, run-in gently under low load, then recheck backlash and tighten mounting hardware to secure the mesh.
Use a quality gear grease sparingly on tooth faces and run the model at low speed for an initial break-in period to seat teeth and reduce early wear.
Inspect bearings and shafts for play or scoring when changing gears; replace any components showing wear to avoid premature gear damage.
