Road-tuned setup pack for TRAXXAS Craniac

This aftermarket set is made for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Craniac Monster Truck to provide a compact on-road setup package that adjusts suspension and steering geometry without cutting or altering the stock chassis. The kit collects metal and plastic replacement items for setup variations and light repairs, suited to hobby-level tuning and shakedown testing.

The package contains aluminium front and rear dampers to tighten rebound consistency, a spring steel tie rod to reduce steering flex, aluminium front mount and tie rod hardware for increased mounting durability, a wheel hex, plus front and rear plastic wheels with tyres for trial fitment. These are aftermarket replacement and hop-up components for scale RC application only.

Use the same shock oil grades and spring rates you run on 1/10 on-road setups; heavier oil or firmer springs will slow rebound and firm the ride for smooth surfaces.

Are the wheels included ready for final use?

The supplied plastic wheels and tyres are for test fitting and alignment checks; verify rim offset and tyre glue before committing to permanent mounting.

How does the spring steel tie rod affect handling?

A stiffer tie rod reduces steering compliance, improving repeatability of toe and Ackermann adjustments and sharpening turn-in on flat asphalt or packed surfaces.
