Precision aluminium front C-hub for TRAXXAS Craniac

This aluminium front C-hub is a direct-fit replacement made for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Craniac Monster Truck platform and is supplied as one pair for the front suspension. It is intended for hobby use on the referenced model and is not suitable for full-size vehicles.

The C-hub serves as a structural mount in the steering knuckle area, carrying the hub carrier and affecting steering geometry and wheel alignment. When you swap plastic hubs for aluminium, check wheel bearings and fasteners for correct fit and torque to prevent binding or changed steering feedback.

Installation notes: remove the front hubs and axle assembly, transfer any sealed bearings or pivot pins as required, and fit the aluminium C-hub using the original hardware where practical. Confirm free movement through full suspension travel and ensure no contact with the servo horn or steering linkage after installation.

Specifications

  • Item: Aluminium Front C-Hub set - 1pr
  • Material: Aluminium
  • Model Number: CRA019
  • Compatibility: TRAXXAS 1/10 Craniac Monster Truck

Choose this part when you need a tougher, serviceable front C-hub for the specified TRAXXAS Craniac and when refining steering response or replacing worn plastic pieces.

This item is compatible with

  • TRAXXAS CRANIAC
It is intended for the stock TRAXXAS 1/10 Craniac mounting points; confirm dimensions against any aftermarket carriers before swapping to avoid fitment issues.
You can transfer sealed bearings from the original hubs if they are in good condition, but inspect them for wear and replace if rough or loose to ensure smooth operation.
With the vehicle on its wheels, check toe and steering centring through full travel, then tighten hardware to spec and recheck after a short test run.
Periodically inspect mounting bolts and pivot pins for looseness, clean contact faces, and look for signs of fatigue after heavy use.
