This aluminium adapter is an aftermarket replacement made for use with TRAXXAS 1/8 X-Maxx vehicles. It installs in place of the stock spur gear adapter and aligns with the original mounting interface to keep the driveline layout unchanged.

Manufactured as a single-piece aluminium unit, the adapter gives a firmer mounting surface compared with the stock plastic piece, which helps maintain consistent gear mesh under heavy throttle and repeated runs. It is intended as a hobbyist upgrade to refine spur gear alignment and reduce play.
