Aluminum shaft collars and mounting screws for T-Maxx

This replacement set of alloy collars and mounting screws is made for TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx platforms and carries the part number TMX13100/SC. The components replace stock plastic or fatigued metal collars and fasteners to restore alignment and reduce play in driveline and linkage joints.

Role of the parts: these collars clamp onto shafts and axle stubs to locate gears, hubs and linkage ends while the supplied screws retain assemblies that are removed frequently or see heavy impacts during bashing and trail use. The aluminum construction gives firmer seating than many stock kits while keeping mass low for scale setups.

Installation notes: support the vehicle on a maintenance stand and work on one side at a time, remove wheels and hub carriers as needed, slide off the old collar, fit the alloy collar on the shaft and tighten the set screw against the shaft flat, then refit the affected assemblies and check for free rotation. Use the correct hex driver for the supplied screws and avoid over-torque that can strip plastic threads.

Tuning and service tips: swapping out worn collars can trim driveline lash and sharpen steering feel by keeping linkages indexed. Inspect mating shafts for wear or flats before fitting new collars, clean contact faces, and retorque fasteners after the first run to confirm nothing loosens under load.

Check your shaft diameter and the hub bore size before installing; the TMX13100/SC set is intended for standard 1/10 T-Maxx shaft dimensions but confirm measurements first.
Use the supplied-size hex driver and tighten carefully by feel. A light, controlled torque avoids stripping threads in plastic housings.
Set screws clamp best against a shaft flat; if your shaft is cylindrical, dress a small flat or use a clamp-style collar to prevent slippage.
