Heavy-Duty Drive Washer for Tomahawk 85 WC

This Kyosho SCW034 HD drive washer is an RC-scale spare meant to set and maintain accurate drivetrain spacing on the Tomahawk 85 WC and on Scorpion Series drivetrains using the same washer profile. The pack includes two pcs so you can match spacing on both sides of an axle or keep a spare for service.

As a heavy-duty washer it gives consistent lateral clearance between hubs, gear interfaces, or gearbox faces without changing gear mesh. Use it as a thin, reliable shim to remove binding or to fine-tune alignment on 1/8 and comparable scale vehicles that share the Tomahawk/Scorpion layout.

Fitting is simple: remove the hub or gear stack, slide the washer onto the shaft where needed, rotate the drivetrain through suspension travel to confirm free movement, then reassemble. Inspect bearing contact and ensure the washer does not alter bearing preload. Repeat measurements on both sides to retain handling balance.

Packing includes

  • HD drive washer - 2 pcs
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is specified for the Tomahawk 85 WC and will fit Scorpion Series cars that use the same washer profile, as indicated by Kyosho documentation. Verify the shaft and hub dimensions before installation.
Place the washer between existing spacers or hubs and reassemble, then rotate the drivetrain while watching engagement. If mesh shifts, adjust adjacent shims to restore proper gear contact.
Two pcs are supplied so you can install one on each side of an axle for symmetric spacing. Matching both sides helps preserve predictable handling.
The HD designation denotes a heavy-duty profile built for stable spacing under load, but always check fitment and clearances during assembly to avoid bearing or gear interference.
