D-MAX low mount plate overview

This YOKTS2130 low mount plate is an aluminum RC-scale accessory made for use with the DRIFT PACKAGE/D-MAX and Team SUZUKI high-grade suspension arms. It moves the damper bottom mounting point downward so the damper sits lower on the arm than the stock mount.

Lowering the damper bottom lets you fit longer springs or springs with more turns than standard, producing a softer, more compliant suspension character that many drift setups prefer. The plate mounts to the damper holes on Team SUZUKI high-grade suspension arms; use the original mounting hardware and check hole alignment before torquing fasteners.

Hardware notes: the set contains one left piece and one right piece to complete a lower-damper conversion for one chassis. This is an RC-scale tuning component intended for model drift cars and suspension tuning work.

How will the low mount plate change handling on my drift car?

By lowering the damper bottom you increase available spring travel and can run longer or higher-turn springs. That typically softens the initial response and gives a more forgiving suspension feel suited to controlled slides.

Will I need extra parts to install this plate?

The plate is designed to use the existing damper mounting holes and original fasteners on Team SUZUKI arms. Verify alignment and torque evenly; no special brackets are normally required.

Can I fit this to non-Team SUZUKI arms?

Fitment with other arms depends on matching damper hole spacing and geometry. The plate is optimised for Team SUZUKI high-grade suspension arms and compatibility is not guaranteed for other makes.
