This small-scale aluminium steering rack is made as a direct replacement for the stock plastic unit on Team Losi MICRO-T chassis and is supplied under the MI-05/LB designation. It replaces the flexible plastic linkage to give a more rigid connection between the servo and the steering knuckles.
As a machined aluminium part, its primary benefit is to cut down flex in the steering path so toe and steering geometry stay consistent under load. That yields a firmer wheel feel and more predictable inputs when you dial steering endpoints or fine-tune servo travel.
During installation, confirm the steering arm geometry and end-link lengths so neutral toe remains unchanged and no binding occurs. Verify servo spline and horn fit, check for clearance with suspension movement, and use compatible set-screws or retainers with your existing linkage hardware.
For tuning, use this rack when pursuing pinpoint steering response: pair it with progressive link geometry, correct servo centring, and measured toe settings to sharpen turn-in and stabilise mid-corner behaviour on small electric buggies.
