This motor fits Team Associated RC18T cars and is supplied as a single unit. It follows the Roadtech stock motor format, specified at 27 Turns with an operating window of 4.8v to 8.4v and aimed at high torque stock-class on-road use.
Fitting is straightforward for RC18T owners: remove the original motor, install this unit in the same motor bay, set pinion to spur gear mesh correctly, and secure with the chassis motor screws. After connection, begin testing at the lower end of the voltage range while monitoring temperature before increasing voltage.
As an upgrade item, this motor delivers increased low-end torque to improve acceleration and throttle control in stock-class on-road setups. Expect changes in throttle feel and plan to reassess gearing and ESC settings to maintain safe motor temperature and efficient power delivery within the 4.8v-8.4v range.
