This aluminum motor mount is a direct-fit replacement for Team Associated RC18T and RC18R chassis, sold as 3Racing part RC18-013/BU. It secures the motor to the chassis and keeps the motor shaft aligned under load and when you change setup parts.

Fitting is straightforward for anyone familiar with 1/18 scale servicing: remove the original mount, line the motor spline with the pinion and spur gear, install the 3Racing aluminum unit, then verify motor-to-gear clearance before final torque. Use thread-lock on metal fasteners where the original instructions indicate, and confirm the motor shaft remains parallel to the spur gear after tightening.

During tuning, this mount helps maintain consistent gear mesh and can reduce movement that leads to inefficient power transfer or extra noise. After any pinion swap, shim change, or motor reposition, re-check spur engagement and throttle/brake feel to keep drivetrain behaviour predictable.
