This 7075 aluminium damper stay mount is an aftermarket RC scale upgrade for the TAMIYA 1/10 4WD XV-02 PRO CHASSIS. It replaces the standard tower base with a machined metal unit to provide firmer support for the shock tower and bogie assembly, improving rigidity under load.

Installation on a stock XV-02 PRO is straightforward: remove the original tower base, align the new damper stay mount on the existing mounting bosses and fasten with the factory screws. Verify thread engagement and chassis alignment before final torqueing so the stay sits flat and shock geometry remains correct.

For setup and tuning this mount helps reduce flex at the shock tower base, which can stabilize suspension feedback during cornering and braking on carpet and asphalt surfaces. It is compatible with common XV-02 shock setups and is supplied as a single replacement mount; shocks and extra hardware are not included.
