7075 aluminium steering column upgrade for XV-02 PRO

This machined 7075 aluminium steering column mount is a direct-fit RC-scale upgrade made for the TAMIYA XV-02 PRO chassis. The alloy construction stiffens the steering assembly and provides a firmer mounting point compared with standard plastic pieces.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the factory column mount, seat the aluminium unit onto the original mounting points and reuse stock screws where they match. Set fastener torque to the manufacturer guideline and check servo alignment and steering travel after installation. By cutting flex in the steering path this part can improve consistency and driver feedback during track sessions or club runs.

Packing includes

  • Steering column mount - 1pcs

Compatible Models

  • TAMIYA-1/10 4WD XV-02 PRO CHASSIS-58707
It is designed to fit the listed XV-02 PRO mount points, but check alignment before final tightening and confirm that stock fasteners thread correctly into the alloy. Minor trimming is not expected.
Verify servo centring and end-point travel after installation. Increased steering rigidity can reveal small misalignments that are best corrected with a final trim or endpoint adjustment.
7075 alloy resists deformation under load better than common plastics, reducing flex in the steering path; however impact resistance differs, so avoid hard crashes to protect the part and surrounding components.
