These aluminum front knuckle arms are made for the TAMIYA XV-01 chassis and supplied under the JR-XV100-BK part code. They replace standard plastic knuckles to give a firmer steering mounting point suitable for scale competition and club-run models.
The black anodized finish helps resist wear from normal hobby use, and the components are designed to integrate with the existing XV-01 steering assembly and suspension pick-up points. Typical installation involves removing the stock knuckles and transferring bearings and fasteners from the original parts before fitting the aluminum pieces, then checking steering throw and alignment after installation.
From a tuning and setup perspective, aluminum knuckles shift load transfer through the steering and front suspension, reducing hub flex and producing a crisper steering feel. When fitting metal hop-ups, confirm wheel camber and toe settings and inspect for binding at full steering lock to avoid accelerated wear on linkages or the servo.
