This steering assembly is made for the Tamiya XV-01 chassis and supplied as model JR-XV103-BK. The kit uses anodized aluminum components and integrates ball bearing seating where the stock parts use plain pivot points to reduce steering slop.
Functionally it replaces the original steering knuckles and linkages to deliver a firmer mechanical connection, helping stabilise steering response during inputs and aiding precise servo centring for on-road setups.
Installation notes: confirm fitment on the XV-01 uprights and steering rack before final torque, ensure bearings sit correctly and rotate freely, and verify clearance with the servo horn. Re-check fastener torque after a few test runs.
