Red anodized aluminum uprights for Tamiya WR02/DT03T

This is an RC-scale aluminum front upright set finished in red anodize, intended as a direct replacement for compatible Tamiya WR02, DT03T and Blitzer Beetle front uprights. The parts are sold as model JR-WR201-RD and provide a metal alternative to common plastic pieces to deliver consistent mounting points for steering and suspension linkages without claiming specific performance gains.

Installation is straightforward on models using the same front upright footprint: remove the original upright, transfer any wheel hexes and bearings, and refit using the existing hardware where possible. After fitting, verify steering linkage geometry and clearance, and confirm that wheel bearings and hex fitments seat correctly before the first run.

For tuning, metal uprights help keep suspension geometry stable under repeated loading and make setup changes more reproducible, which is useful when adjusting camber, caster, or track width during track tests. They are compatible with standard servo and suspension layouts used on the listed Tamiya chassis; no extra specialty tools are required beyond routine maintenance items.

Compatibility

  • WR02
  • DT03T
  • Blitzer Beetle

Great stuff. Love the upgrades. Wish they did more though, love jazzing up my cars
This listing is for the aluminum uprights only; transfer your existing bearings and wheel hexes from the original parts to these uprights.
Remove the stock upright, clean mating surfaces, move over bearings and hexes, reuse correct-length screws, and tighten to the recommended torque while ensuring linkage free play is within spec.
If your model follows the WR02/DT03T/Blitzer Beetle upright footprint, the stock steering link and mount points should align; always check geometry and clearance after assembly.
