TAMIYA WR01/WT01 Aluminum Shock Tower Details

This is an RC-scale aluminum front/rear shock tower designed for TAMIYA WR01/WT01 chassis, supplied as 1 pcs in red by Jazrider JR-WR101-RD. It functions as a direct replacement top mount for the upper ends of the shock absorbers and provides a noticeably stiffer mounting point compared with standard plastic towers.

Compatibility is limited to WR01 and WT01 chassis families as indicated in the product name. The component is intended for model use only and does not represent any real vehicle application. Typical installation involves removing the factory shock tower, re-using existing mounting hardware and the shock upper posts where possible; verify hole alignment and fitment before final assembly.

From a setup perspective, an aluminum tower reduces flex at the shock top mount and changes how loads are transferred into the chassis. That can stabilise suspension response over repeated runs and help retain static camber and ride height under heavier loads, while potentially passing more vibration into the chassis compared with softer materials. Choose this part when you want a firmer top mount for consistent setup testing.

Notes: supplied as 1 pcs, red anodized finish, intended for RC 1/10-scale WR01/WT01 models only.

Yes. The tower is specified to fit TAMIYA WR01 and WT01 chassis as a direct-fit replacement, but always check holes align before tightening hardware.
In most cases the original mounting screws and posts can be reused. Confirm thread engagement and hole alignment, and swap to new hardware only if wear or fit issues are found.
An aluminum top mount reduces top-end flex and stabilizes shock geometry, which tends to make suspension response more consistent but can increase vibration feedback to the chassis.
