Aluminium servo saver and tie rod for TT-02/TT-02B

This aluminium servo saver and matching tie rod set is a direct-fit steering upgrade for Tamiya TT-02 and TT-02B chassis. The aluminium saver replaces the stock plastic parts and uses a 25T spline to accept standard 25T servo outputs, while the aluminium tie rods stiffen the linkage for crisper steering input.

Fit and purpose: the kit protects the servo output from impact loads and reduces play in the steering linkage, giving a firmer connection between servo and knuckles within the TT-02/TT-02B steering geometry.

Installation tips: the saver mounts to the existing servo output via the 25T spline and the tie rods swap into the stock linkage ends. Minor turnbuckle adjustment or trimming may be required to restore toe and centring after fitment. Confirm spline alignment and thread engagement during assembly to prevent binding.

Tuning benefits: swapping plastic saver components for aluminium increases steering feedback and lowers flex under heavier steering loads, which can help when dialing in more responsive front-end setups or stiffer springs. Expect a more predictable feel during setup sessions or practice runs.

The saver uses a standard 25T spline to match most high-torque servo horns; verify your servo spline count before installing to ensure compatibility.
The set is designed for reuse of common mounting hardware. Inspect the included parts and your existing hardware; you may reuse compatible screws but keep spare small screws available just in case.
Aluminium components reduce flex versus plastic, producing firmer feedback and more consistent steering under load, which aids precise corner entry and tuning adjustments.
