This aluminium alloy motor mount is an aftermarket option that fits the Tamiya TT02 and TT02B chassis and accepts 16T to 25T pinions. It gives builders a slotted mounting area so motor position can be changed laterally to achieve correct pinion-to-spur engagement without cutting or reshaping the original motor plate.
Use this part when you need incremental motor movement to fine-tune mesh or to run a different pinion size. The slot design lets you slide the motor into the ideal position, check mesh across the spur rotation, then clamp the mount down for a secure fit.
Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with TT02/TT02B layouts: remove the motor from the stock plate, bolt it to the adjustable bracket, set the engagement with the spur, confirm smooth rotation and no binding, then tighten the fasteners. Supplied as 1pc for scale tuning and service.
