Aluminium rear shock top for TT-02B

This single aftermarket alloy rear damper plate is made for the Tamiya TT-02B RC touring chassis and manufactured by GPM as model TT2B030. As a scale hop-up, the metal plate replaces the stock plastic rear damper mount to provide a firmer, more consistent shock mounting surface under repeated use.

The component is engineered for rear shock mounting and for fine tuning suspension geometry on the TT-02B platform. By reducing flex at the shock top, it helps maintain consistent damping behaviour when you adjust rebound and compression during setup and track sessions.

Installation is simple for anyone familiar with the TT-02B layout: remove the original rear damper plate, transfer the shocks and hardware, then fit the alloy plate to the existing mounting points. Check alignment and full suspension travel before final torque; standard hex drivers are usually sufficient and reusing the original screws is normally acceptable.

It is designed to use the same rear mounting points as the stock plate, but always verify fit and clearances before final assembly.
Most installs reuse the existing screws; confirm thread engagement and length during installation and replace only if the originals do not sit flush.
A stiffer shock mount reduces top-end flex, which can make damping adjustments more predictable when dialling in rebound and compression.
