This machined aluminum front C-hub is an aftermarket upgrade for TAMIYA TT-02B and DF-02 chassis. Finished in light blue, it replaces the factory plastic piece to provide a firmer mounting point for the front steering assembly and improved longevity for 1/10-scale touring and drift models.
Fitment is straightforward for those familiar with basic chassis work: remove the stock plastic C-hub, transfer any required pins or bushings, then secure the alloy hub using the original hardware. After installation, check kingpin and wheel bearing alignment, and verify toe and camber since slight thickness differences can affect steering geometry. Use standard RC workshop practice of hand-starting fasteners, final snug torque, and threadlocker on steel screws if desired.
Effect on handling: upgrading to an aluminum C-hub increases front-end stiffness and reduces flex under load, which helps maintain consistent steering during cornering and braking. Expect a modest change in steering feel; combine this part with suspension and toe/camber tuning to refine on-track performance.
