This aluminum shock tower stay is an RC-scale replacement part designed for the TAMIYA TT-02 chassis. Machined from red anodized aluminum, the damper stay replaces the stock tower to provide a stiffer mounting point for front and rear shocks without altering the factory mounting geometry.
Fitting uses the TT-02's existing tower mounting holes and original hardware, so no chassis modification is required. The part is a direct swap for the plastic or plated steel original, preserving shock eyelet positions while increasing local stiffness at the shock mounts.
As a tuning upgrade, the aluminum stay helps reduce flex around the shock towers under load, which can yield more consistent damper behavior and a more predictable suspension response during setup changes. It is intended for hobby TT-02 touring and on-road setups where firmer shock anchoring and repeatable adjustments are preferred.
