Aluminum Rear Hub for TT01 Family

This JR-TT102-BK aluminum rear hub and knuckle arm is an aftermarket replacement made for TAMIYA TT01, TT01E and TT01ED chassis. It replaces the factory plastic hub carriers with a machined alloy item to provide a more rigid mounting for rear drives and steering linkages, reducing flex under braking and cornering without altering the chassis geometry.

Compatibility is restricted to the specific TAMIYA TT01 variants listed, so confirm your chassis code before fitting. The part is machined from aluminum to resist wear where the stock plastic may deform, and it keeps the original attachment pattern so existing wheel hexes and driveshafts align as the factory units did.

Installation requires removal of the original rear hub carriers, transferring wheel bearings or set screws as needed, and fitting the aluminum unit to the rear hub assembly. After installation, check driveshaft engagement and wheel runout, and verify steering linkage clearance throughout suspension travel. The upgrade does not move suspension pick-up points but increases rear stiffness and feedback, which can influence toe and transient handling.

For service, inspect mating surfaces and wheel bearing condition regularly and replace worn bearings rather than forcing fitment. This is an RC scale accessory intended only for model use and not for any full-size vehicle applications.

It is made for TAMIYA TT01, TT01E and TT01ED as named; confirm your chassis code before purchasing to ensure fitment.
The hub accepts the same wheel bearings used in the stock rear hubs. Transfer the bearings during installation and check that they seat properly in the new aluminum carrier.
The aluminum hub increases rear-end stiffness, which can sharpen steering response and alter transient toe behavior; this can be used to fine tune rear traction and steering feel.
