Impact-absorbing foam for TT01

This urethane foam bumper is an RC-scale replacement part for Tamiya TT01 platforms. It acts as a front or rear buffer to absorb low-speed impacts and reduce force transfer to body mounts and chassis components on 1/10 scale touring car models.

Installation is straightforward: remove the stock bumper and fit the foam unit to the existing bumper bracket or mounting points on the TT01 chassis. The foam is designed to deform in low-energy contacts and recover toward its original shape, so verify fitment clearance and ensure the bumper does not interfere with steering linkages or suspension travel while installed.

For setup and tuning the bumper provides passive cushioning: it affects initial contact response and minor rebound during slow impacts. Use it where predictable cushioning is preferred for parking-lot practice, pit-lane knocks, or low-speed on-track incidents without changing high-speed aerodynamic components. Inspect the foam after repeated impacts and replace when compression memory or tears are evident.
