TT01 aluminium front lower arm upgrade

This aftermarket front lower arm is designed for the TAMIYA TT01 chassis as a direct upgrade to the OEM plastic piece. Machined aluminium alloy construction adds stiffness while keeping the original TT-01 mounting layout and hardware interfaces.

Purpose and benefits: the alloy arm steadies the front suspension pickup, helps preserve camber and toe under impact, and provides a stable baseline for setup changes when using the included shims and collars. It is intended for routine maintenance or when replacing worn plastic arms without altering chassis geometry.

Fitting notes: remove the factory lower arm with standard hobby tools, reuse compatible hardware where possible, mount the GPM arm to the factory ball studs and hubs, then use the supplied collars and shims to set axle endplay and steering clearance. Verify thread engagement and rotating clearances before running.

Care and setup tips: inspect the arm after heavy impacts, keep pivot points free of grit and lightly lubricated as part of your maintenance routine, and use small shim adjustments to fine-tune steering feel and remove play.

This arm is made to match standard TAMIYA TT01 mounting points. If your chassis has non-standard mods or aftermarket hubs, compare dimensions before installing.
No special tools are needed beyond common hobby hex drivers, pliers and a cordless driver if you prefer. Take care with thread engagement and avoid overtightening plastic-to-metal joins.
Shims and collars let you remove endplay and micro-adjust steering geometry. Make small changes and test on the track to find the balance between free movement and responsive steering.
