Machined aluminum ball differential for TT-01

This aluminium ball differential is built for use with Tamiya TT-01 and TT-01 TYPE E chassis. The machined aluminium housing creates a rigid mounting surface for the internal ball elements, giving more consistent engagement and finer adjustment of traction transfer for on-road setups.

Fitting is straightforward as a direct replacement for the stock plastic case. Clean mating faces, move over your existing ball and spring pack or fit any supplied internals, then check mesh and clearance with the spur and gearbox before final tightening. Torque fasteners evenly and avoid over-tightening to keep the aluminium case true.

As a tunable part, the differential allows preload and internal friction changes to match track surface and driving style. Use light diff grease or oil recommended for your TT-01, and inspect 走珠軸承 and gear teeth periodically for wear to keep handling predictable.
