Alloy steering tie rod for TT01 chassis

This alloy steering tie rod is an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya TT01 platform, model TT049. It replaces the standard plastic linkage with a metal option and is supplied with the mounting screws needed for correct fitment.

Fit this part to restore worn steering joints or to add rigidity to the linkage on a 1/10 scale TT01 electric touring car. The aluminium construction stands up to frequent steering inputs and club running while preserving the TT01 steering geometry.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original tie rod from the servo horn and steering knuckles, install the alloy rod in the same locations, and fasten using the supplied screws. Verify thread engagement and steering travel after assembly and make small adjustments to avoid over-tightening which can alter steering feel.

For setup changes, adjust the rod length at the ball ends to change effective toe or trim. Small incremental changes help tune turn-in and mid-corner response without swapping servo or suspension pieces.

It is made for the TT01 family but check your chassis mounting points match the original TT01 linkage locations before fitting to variant submodels.
Screws for mounting are included; confirm correct thread engagement during install and replace any damaged fasteners with matching thread-form parts if needed.
Inspect ball joints for play, keep threads clean and lightly lubricated where appropriate, and retighten hardware after a short test run to ensure secure fitment.
