This Factory Pro O-TCP012 rear upper deck is an aftermarket, RC-scale replacement made for the Tamiya TRF421X chassis. Machined from graphite at a nominal 2mm thickness, the split panel fits at the rear of the upper deck to add targeted stiffness while keeping clearance for drivetrain and suspension movement.

Use this insert when you need a repeatable method to change rear-end rigidity as part of setup adjustments. Increasing upper deck stiffness with a graphite insert shifts chassis flex patterns, which in turn influences traction and turn-in; treat this as one tuning element alongside shock valving, camber, and anti-roll tweaks.
