Front upper bumper plate for TRF421X

The Factory Pro FP-O-TCP013 is an aftermarket graphite top plate manufactured for the Tamiya TRF421X chassis. It fits above the front bumper area as a direct replacement and mounts to the stock TRF421X attachment points.

Made from graphite, the plate reduces unwanted flex at the bumper mount while keeping mass low, helping to stabilise the front-end response during rapid inputs. In use the brace redistributes impact forces and changes how chassis twist is managed at the front.

Installation follows the TRF421X factory mounting pattern, using the original screw positions and hardware. When fitting, align the plate with the bumper mounts before final tightening, use moderate torque to avoid overtightening near composite parts, and check for clearance to the servo and suspension arms through full travel.

Tuning notes: replacing a more compliant front brace with this graphite plate generally produces a crisper steering feel and can reduce chatter on high-grip tracks; pair the change with small caster and damping adjustments to evaluate handling balance.
