Machined aluminium bridge mount for TRF-416

This aluminium bridge suspension mount is made as a scale replacement intended for the Tamiya TRF-416 chassis. It replaces the factory plastic mount with a metal option to improve torsional stiffness and provide a firmer platform for on-road suspension setups.

Fitting is simple for those familiar with TRF-416 maintenance: remove the existing bridge mount, reuse original fasteners where they fit, and secure the aluminium unit into the same mounting holes. Check bridge alignment and clearances around the drivetrain before final tightening.

Used as a tuning piece, this mount gives a steadier contact point for the suspension bridge so setup adjustments reproduce more consistently during testing. After any ride-height or geometry change, recheck alignment and consider a medium-strength thread locker on metal fastenings where needed.
