Purpose and track use

Factory Pro O-TCPF04 is a dedicated rear suspension plate made for the Tamiya TRF104 chassis. The graphite 2.0 construction provides a firmer mounting surface than common plastic plates, helping to adjust chassis stiffness and refine rear suspension response for circuit running.

This component replaces the stock rear suspension plate to alter how the rear transfers loads during cornering and acceleration on model tracks. When used as part of a tuning program it interacts with spring rates, shock positions and roll-center adjustments to influence overall handling and traction.

Installation tips: confirm screw lengths and thread engagement before final torque, reuse factory mounting hardware unless stated otherwise, and check clearance with nearby parts such as rear uprights and shock towers during a dry fit. After installation perform a short test run and re-check mounting fasteners for consistent torque.

Use this plate when you need a stiffer rear mounting point for stepwise tuning on TRF104 race setups, and always verify fitment before full track use.

The plate is produced for the TRF104 layout. Some other TRF models use different mounting patterns, so confirm hole spacing and geometry before attempting fitment.
A set of hex drivers matching the factory screws and a calibrated torque approach are recommended. Hand-tighten, then set final torque and re-check after the first run.
Graphite raises local rigidity versus many plastics, which can reduce flex at the rear mount and subtly shift balance. Introduce it gradually within a measured tuning program.
Perform a dry fit to check clearances at uprights and shock towers, confirm screw engagement and lengths, then run a short shakedown and re-torque fasteners.
