This graphite rear shock tower is an RC hop-up made for the TAMIYA TRF 416 chassis, supplied as part number 416-16/WO. It replaces the stock rear tower to give a firmer anchoring point for the rear shocks and upper links while keeping focus on practical chassis tuning and clearer suspension response.
Fitment uses the TRF 416's original rear bulkhead mounting points; the tower installs into the same screw locations as the factory part and stacks with the existing hardware on the chassis. No extra fasteners are included, so reuse the TRF 416 screws and spacers from the original assembly during installation.
As a neutral tuning component the tower raises rear-end stiffness at the mounts, reducing flex compared with softer stamped or molded towers. That allows more predictable damping and spring adjustments and helps when dialing in anti-roll behaviour without changing the TRF 416 geometry.
