Precise aluminum front knuckles for TAMIYA layouts

These aluminum front knuckle arms are a direct-fit accessory intended for use on TAMIYA TL-01, GF-01 and WR-02CB chassis layouts. Machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish, the parts replace the stock plastic knuckles to reduce flex at the steering hub and provide a firmer mounting point for the steering linkage.

Use these components to tighten steering response and improve repeatability during setup changes: swapping to aluminum knuckles reduces unwanted deflection under load and gives a more consistent feel when adjusting toe or Ackermann. This item is an RC aftermarket accessory and is not for full-size vehicles.

Installation notes: confirm ball stud position and steering link lengths after fitting, secure fasteners with appropriate thread locker where needed, and cycle the suspension through its travel to ensure there is no binding. The design replaces the original parts on the compatible TAMIYA chassis listed below.

Compatibility

  • Tamiya TL-01
  • Tamiya GF-01
  • Tamiya WR-02CB

Excellent Service, Fast Delivery to the UK, well packaged and Great Value.
They are designed as direct replacements for the listed TAMIYA knuckles. You should still check that fasteners and ball studs align correctly and that no spacers are required for your specific setup.
Yes. Aluminum reduces flex compared with stock plastic, which typically produces a firmer steering sensation and more consistent feedback when tuning or under load.
After fitting, cycle the suspension through full travel while checking ball stud heights and steering link geometry. Apply a drop of thread locker to metal fasteners if needed and ensure pivots move freely throughout the range of motion.
