This is an RC-scale aluminum front suspension arm mount that also functions as a gearbox support, finished in blue anodized aluminum and listed under model JR-TFD08-LB. It is supplied as a direct A5 replacement for the TAMIYA Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher kits and is intended to strengthen the front-end without changing core suspension geometry.
The component is designed to mate with the original front suspension and gearbox locations on the specified TAMIYA chassis. Typical installation follows the stock A5 part removal and replacement steps, using the same mounting points and hardware; always confirm fitment on your chassis before final torque. No extra hardware or tools are included with the part.
From a tuning perspective the metal mount increases local stiffness at the front bulkhead and provides a firmer gearbox mounting surface. Swapping plastic for aluminum will alter front-end feedback, so make incremental adjustments to shocks and steering links and evaluate changes on track.
