This RC-scale front knuckle arm is made for TAMIYA Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher buggies. Machined from aluminum and finished in black, it replaces the stock plastic unit to provide a firmer mounting point for the front suspension.
The knuckle functions as the steering pivot and wheel hub mount on the front end; moving to an alloy part tends to stiffen steering feel, improve durability, and keep suspension geometry more consistent during heavy cornering or landings. Expect more consistent handling under load compared with plastic pieces.
Installation notes: check wheel hex, bearing fit and kingpin arrangement before final assembly, reuse factory fasteners where suitable, and confirm free steering and full suspension travel after installation. Torque bolts correctly to prevent thread damage while ensuring no play in the knuckle.
