This aluminium rear suspension arm mount and gearbox support is an RC hop-up designed to replace the B8 rear mount on the listed TAMIYA chassis. As a direct-fit item, it stiffens the rear mount area and gives a firmer connection between the suspension arm and the wavebox under typical buggy use.
Compatibility covers the Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher only. The component is made from aluminium alloy, finished in red, and installs in the same location as the stock B8 mount using the model's original hardware and fasteners.
Installation notes: remove the original B8 rear mount and position the JAZRIDER mount so the gearbox and suspension arm pivots sit flush; confirm smooth travel before final torqueing. No servo, ESC, motor, or internal gearbox changes are required for fitment. Use this upgrade when you want a tighter rear end for predictable handling on hard-packed surfaces.
Maintenance and tuning: check mating faces for burrs after fitment, keep mounting screws correctly torqued to avoid loosening, and confirm adequate clearance with nearby chassis parts. If you change rear geometry, re-check full suspension travel to ensure the arm clears the mount.
