Replacement CVD swing shaft for TB-04

This front and rear CVD swing shaft is supplied as a matched pair for the Tamiya TB-04 touring chassis. The shafts are steel #45 and are designed to replace worn TB-04 CVD swing joints while providing a consistent steel option for the drivetrain.

Fit and function: the shafts are engineered to suit standard TB-04 suspension and hub geometry. Fit them to replace damaged components or to standardise on a steel setup. Installation follows usual TB-04 maintenance practices and depends on correct hub alignment and suspension travel.

Installation and tuning role: each shaft locates into the existing CVD housings and mates with standard TB-04 outdrives and hubs. Check bearing engagement and clearance through suspension travel to prevent binding. Switching to steel #45 will increase drivetrain stiffness and wear resistance, useful when aiming for consistent response during setup work.
