TB-04 rear gear box upper plate

This aluminium upper plate is an RC-scale replacement made for the Tamiya TB-04 platform, engineered to provide a firmer mount for the rear gearbox and to cut chassis flex under load. The focus is on mechanical support and correct drivetrain alignment rather than cosmetic change.

The part fits TB-04 family chassis as indicated in the name. It is designed to work with the stock TB-04 gearbox assembly and mounting hardware, and can be used during setup to stabilise gear mesh and drivetrain behaviour for high-load driving or precise tuning sessions.

For installation follow standard RC workshop practice: confirm hole alignment, use the correct fastener engagement, and verify gear engagement after fitting. These notes cover RC model installation only and do not relate to real vehicle use.

It is intended for TB-04 chassis variants referenced in the product title; check your chassis code and the gearbox mounting points before ordering.
The plate uses the TB-04 gearbox mounting pattern and common screws, but confirm fastener lengths and thread type against your TB-04 kit to avoid interference.
Fit the plate loosely, rotate the drivetrain to settle gears, then tighten fasteners while keeping a small backlash for smooth engagement; recheck under load conditions.
