This aftermarket front and rear spring damper is built for the TAMIYA TB04 platform and marked TB4055F/R. The unit features an aluminium body and a threaded spring collar so you can change preload without removing the shock from the car, giving a compact option for scale suspension setup.

Fitting is straightforward for anyone comfortable with TB-04 servicing: remove the original shock, swap upper or lower mounting pins if necessary, then mount the damper into the stock shock towers and lower mounts. No changes to motor, gearbox, or electronics are needed because this is a scale suspension upgrade only.

The damper is intended to let you fine tune preload and keep springs seated consistently. Turn the threaded collar to add or reduce preload to change ride height and the initial spring rate, then recheck suspension geometry and wheel alignment on both axles. Pair preload changes with conventional shock oil and spring choices for predictable handling changes.
