TB04 Aluminium C-hub upgrade

This aluminium C-hub is an RC-scale replacement part for TB04 chassis use. It replaces the standard steering hub with a machined aluminium unit that gives a firmer mounting point for steering linkages and suspension pivots on 1/10 electric touring car setups.

Fitting is straightforward for modelers who know the TB04 layout: remove the stock C-hub, transfer existing pins or bearings if they are compatible, and secure the replacement with the original hardware. No specialist tools are usually required beyond standard hex drivers, but always re-check steering geometry and free movement after installation.

From a setup perspective, an aluminium C-hub reduces flex at the pivot and creates a consistent contact surface for pins and bearings, which can sharpen steering response and improve repeatability during tuning. Use this part only on TB04-based models that accept this form factor.

This C-hub is made to match TB04 mounting points. Verify your chassis uses the standard TB04 hub layout and check that pins and bearings line up before final assembly.
Remove the original hub, transfer or replace any bearings or pins as needed, mount the aluminium hub with the stock screws and tighten to spec. Confirm steering moves freely and the geometry is unchanged.
If existing bearings and pins show wear, replace them. In many cases the original hardware can be reused, but inspect threads and apply thread locker where appropriate.
